Characteristics/Description:  The LBS is used to boresight (align) the open sights, Thermal Weapon Sight, and other Day or Night Vision devices to the various weapons systems to which they are attached. The AN/PEM-1 will replace the LBS. The only difference is the AN/PEM-1 has a low power laser setting. Either device is acceptable for use.

The LBS comes with 5.56mm, 7.62mm, and .50 cal attachable mandrels. 40mm adapters are available for the M203 and MK-19.
