Characteristics/Description:  The AN/PAQ-4C is a lightweight, self-contained, Class 1 laser.  It is used in conjunction with night vision devices to direct weapon fire at night.  The PAQ-4C is being replaced by the AN/PEQ-2A.

Weapon Platforms:  The AN/PAQ-4C attaches to the M16A2 service rifle.
