The IWNS-T is a clip-on therman sight that will be used in conjunction with the RCO on the M16A4 service rifle and M4 carbine.  The IWNS-T will attach in front of the RCO to the MIL-STD-1913 rail system, while maintaining zero.  This therman device is a portable, battery operated, electro-optical sight used to loacte and engage targets during day, night, and other adverse conditions such as light rain, light snow, and dry smoke.
