The SONOD optimally will interface with the SSOT. The SONOD is a lightweight, night vision device for detecting, recognizing, observing, identifying, and ranging targets during reduced light and/or obscured targets to 400 yards for man-sized targets and to 800 yards for vehicle-sized targets. The SONOD will be used in conjunction with the SSOT.
